Dave's mandatory update

Katie told me that if I wanted to stay at her house for the rest of my vacation I had to post on this thing. So here it is...
I am on vacation right now until mid January and then I will drive my new car (name TBD) across the country back to Georgia, which has been my permanent duty station for the last three years, barring the last fifteen months which I spent in Iraq. Sometime in May I will be moving to my new post in Louisiana, which I am desperately trying to get out of.

Family Reunion

We had a great time last night at our family reunion! It was so wonderful to see everyone and to catch up again. Thanks for great food and to those who got it all together. We should definitely do things like that more often. We have a terrific family, we are glad we are a part of it!
